Shell

This review is a result of the staff on shift 0800 Friday June 5/20 Shell @ Nicol St, Nanaimo BC-there seems to be no other way to make heard a concern. I purchased a coffee which the staff have to prepare due to covid19-completely understand. Staff took my cash, then answered the store phone and was on the phone while getting my cup etc ready. She then proceeded to pour, add sugar/cream and stir it up all the while not washing her hands after handling cash and phone. When I politely brought this to her attention and inquired why I could not just please be handed the cream/sugar/stir stick to add on my own (returning to hotel) she glared at me, ripped the lid off then tossed the cup in the sink. Angrily put on gloves then poured another coffee, but while doing so sarcastically says 'am I doing this right, you want me to put a mask on too?!' I informer her she is now being rude and to please just provide the product so I could leave. She handed me coffee and supplies then barked something more to me as I walked out the door, something like...'you have yourself a good day now sweetheart!' I do not writer reviews Ever, but this staff made me feel belittled and upset after the fact, over her rude behavior toward me while I was the only customer in the store, this is what I get first thing in the morning over a simple statement of observation relating to the lack of hygiene protocol on her part.
